Your art…on display…all summer…in downtown Two Rivers!
Two Rivers Main Street is looking for artists interested in having their art displayed on Washington Street this summer. This art will be printed on banners that will be displayed on light poles at the intersections of Washington Street from 15th to 21st Streets.
This is the first year of this new public art initiative in Two Rivers. It is an opportunity for artists to display their work for the thousands of people that visit Central Park each year, for festivals, concerts, and more. Artists young and old are encouraged to pick up a canvas and create their entry.
Interested artists may pick up their canvas at Basil Ishkabibble’s Art Gallery, located at 1612 Washington Street in Two Rivers, Seeds N Beans Nature Store at 1813 Washington Street, or at the Two Rivers Main Street office inside Two Rivers City Hall. There is a $25 fee for adult artists to participate, and a $5 fee for students. Completed art must be returned to one of these locations before Monday, March 29th. There are very few restrictions for this program. Click here to see guidelines.
We have space for 28 pieces of art to be displayed on Washington Street this summer. The winning pieces will be displayed at Basil Ishkabibble’s Art Gallery starting in early April.
